Peaceful home away from home

Great place to stay for a long weekend. Close Little Mulligan Reserve to watch sunrise , have coffee and walk surrounded by kangaroos .Pleasant retreat from busy city life. 2nd stay will be back in November if same accommodation available .

Short but sweet.

We enjoyed our stay for one night in Nicholls it was a lovely quiet spot it was perfect as we had our puppy with us. It was clean quiet and in a perfect location for stopping overnight on our way to the snowy mountains.

This cottage is just lovely. So comfy, especially the beds!! Awesome attention to detail. Love the special Knick knack display cupboard. Beautiful bathroom… roomy and beautiful decor. Outdoor area lovely and private, and beautiful in the sunshine.

Great property to stay at

property had everything needed, lovely location near a golf course and lake with good early morning walks. Nicholls local shops 5mins, Gungahlin shopping centre 10mins, so very convenient. Lovely quiet place to stay in Canberra

The house was a joy to stay in and a very quiet neighbourhood. We were there for over 1 week. Lovely view of the golf course and trees. The house had everything that we needed for our stay. Shops were close and we were only a short drive into the city centre and all of its tourist attractions. The host, Helen was lovely to deal with and very prompt to answer any questions we had. We will stay here again when next in Canberra.

the property itself was great but unfortunately the outside light did not work and my companion is blind in one eye, the oven did not heat up, a rooster crowed every morning non stop from 3am and we stayed 3 nights and were provided 1 towel each for the entirety of our stay, couldn't use alfresco dining as no light worked there either. Having said that the bed was very comfortable and despite the maintenance issues and rooster/lack of sleep we rate it very highly. would stay again.
