"The oven was dirty. I turned the oven on when we arrived to put a lasagna and a terrible smell immediately happened. Something had spilled over in the oven and it was awful. Also, the outsider grill was very dirty. We cleaned half for sometime so we could cook burgers. "

"The property was just as described. The view was magnificent! Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. The only thing I would caution future travelers about is the road getting to the cottage. It is manageable, but somewhat steep in some areas and only one way, which the property owners make you aware of. Turning your vehicle into the driveway can be tricky, especially if you have a larger SUV or truck. Overall, it was a great location. Burnsville has some good food options, and the drive to Asheville was very nice and true to the time indicated, about 30 minutes. I would definitely stay at this property in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Asheville area."

"Absolutely amazing. Josh and Amy are very responsive to all questions. Not only is their home beautiful but it was spotless. The views from the back deck and hot tub are so beautiful. Of course my favorite part was being able to see those darling goats every morning, they are just the sweetest. Downtown Burnsville was also so much fun , we did a lot of site seeing during the day and then relaxed on the deck and hot tub and watched the beautiful sunset. Thank Josh and Amy, you can assure we will be back. Lisa and family."

"Clean with plenty of space. We loved the view and the multitude of outdoor seating areas. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The drive to the property is quite steep. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!"

"We had a very nice stay, the home is located on a very quiet and safe street and is within close distance to Asheville NC. The home had plenty of space for our family of 4 and one furry baby. There was an issue with the water pressure, during our stay, but the owner Chris was very attentive stated that the issue would be addressed very soon. Thank you for your hospitality. "
