The house sits within minutes of The Hoosier National Forest offering hiking / fishing and a peaceful atmosphere, 50 minutes from Holiday World, and 55 minutes from French Lick. The location of this house is absolutely perfect! Right on the Ohio River, each sunrise was different on the river and all of them breathtaking! Loved watching the barges pass from the rocking chairs or swing on the deck. Quiet location and not too far from beautiful hiking trails. The drives to the trails were also gorgeous. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay! The cabin is off the beaten path, but that’s what makes it so perfect! Very very quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Lots of room to spread out. About an hour drive to Holiday World. We saw lots of deer and turkey on our way to/from Holiday World.

Spent two nights with my 88 yo mother who once had a place on the river and has mentioned several times how much she enjoyed those days. She loved the cabin and especially the view. She spent most of her time on the deck. If you're looking for a peaceful vacation, this is it!

We stayed for 2 days. Brought steaks and other goodies to grill. We enjoyed the view from the deck. We refilled the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the many visitors. We've never heard a hummingbird chirp! It was a nice quiet getaway to reset and recharge. We'll be back next time we want a quiet getaway.

This was the perfect location. Quiet and remote. Watched barges go by. Got to see one riverboat. Several locals out in their boats. This was one of our favorite cabins. So relaxing. Our only problem was we had to check out too soon. Another week would be great. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us. Bob and Carla Crist
