I absolutely love the hotel! The location is perfect, the rooms are big and the staff, super nice!!! I made the mistake of changing hotels to see new places bc I come to Cannes every summer and I regret it deeply! I wish I would habe stayed my whole stay here and will definitely be back!!

The location was perfect! Two blocks from the station and the beach and easy walk to old town. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming (we even got early check in). Room was very clean and the bed comfortable. But the room and hotel in general were a bit rundown and in need of some repairs and updating. Eg the window to our room wouldn’t close properly and we could not adjust the AC. But I would probably stay here again because for me the positives outweighed those few negatives.

Avis très décevant — plusieurs problèmes pendant le séjour Malheureusement, notre séjour dans cet hôtel a été très décevant, avec de nombreux problèmes qui, cumulés, ne sont clairement pas à la hauteur du prix ni des prestations annoncées. Tout d’abord, l’arrivée était prévue à 14h30. Nous sommes arrivés vers 15h30, mais la chambre n’était toujours pas prête. Nous avons finalement dû attendre jusqu’après 17h pour pouvoir récupérer notre chambre. Pendant ce temps, on nous a fait patienter dans leur « lounge », qui est en réalité la salle du petit-déjeuner, avec simplement de l’eau à disposition. Une fois dans la chambre, plusieurs problèmes se sont enchaînés. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas, ce qui nous a obligés à dormir avec la fenêtre ouverte en plein mois d’août. Évidemment, cela a entraîné énormément de nuisances sonores, rendant les nuits particulièrement désagréables. Le réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait pas non plus et dégageait une odeur assez désagréable, comme celle d’un réfrigérateur qui aurait tourné à vide ou mal été entretenu. J’ai commandé un Coca à la réception, qui m’a été servi chaud. On m’a simplement conseillé de le mettre dans le réfrigérateur de la chambre… autant dire que cela n’a absolument rien changé puisqu’il ne fonctionnait pas. Autre problème : la fenêtre de la douche était cassée. Le joint ne tenait plus correctement et la fenêtre se refermait constamment sur nous pendant que nous prenions notre douche. Ce n’est franchement pas acceptable

I would not stay here even if it were free. I could hear everything single thing coming from my neighbouring room. The A/C runs but it’s very poor, I woke up in a sweat every night because of the heat. Only positive is the location and the shower pressure was good.

Je souhaite vous faire part de ma profonde déception concernant ma nuit à l’Hôtel Cannes Centre Univers à Cannes, réservé. Le principal problème concerne les nuisances sonores extrêmement importantes auxquelles j’ai été confronté toute la nuit. Ma chambre donnait directement sur une rue très animée du centre-ville et, malgré les fenêtres fermées, j’entendais parfaitement la circulation, les klaxons, les scooters, les conversations des passants ainsi que les cris des personnes sortant des bars et établissements de nuit jusqu’à près de 6h du matin. Résultat : il m’a été pratiquement impossible de dormir correctement, avec de nombreux réveils tout au long de la nuit. J’ai également été surpris par l’état des fenêtres, qui paraissaient anciennes et peu performantes sur le plan acoustique, ainsi que par la présence de filets de protection installés sur la façade de l’immeuble. Après vérification, j’ai constaté que plusieurs clients signalent eux aussi sur différentes plateformes des problèmes récurrents d’insonorisation, de bruit provenant de la rue et de difficultés à dormir. Mon expérience ne semble donc malheureusement pas être un cas isolé. Je trouve regrettable qu’un établissement présenté comme un hôtel 4 étoiles offre un niveau de confort acoustique aussi insuffisant, alors que le repos constitue l’une des prestations essentielles attendues d’un hôtel. Je reste à votre disposition pour vous transmettre les photographies prises durant mon séjour et vous remercie par avance.

Personnel très agréable. La chambre est rendue petite en raison du lit xxl qui y trône... On aurait pu y dormir a 4 :) Donc, de notre avis, revoir la taille du lit pour avoir plus d espaces de circulation et de vie. Literie au top. Je n'aime pas la moquette donc point négatif pour moi. Et aussi, dommage de devoir demander le plateau de courtoisie( café thé source etc etc )... mais au moins il est prévu.

Lähellä ostoskatua, rautatieasemaa ja ravintoloita. Kävelymatka (pidempi) risteilysatamasta. Huone oli parisängyn kokoinen, mutta riittävä yhdelle yölle. Siisti huone, mutta ei luksusta. Kaiken kaikkiaan hotellissa oli kuitenkin jotain negatiivisella tavalla erikoista.
