"The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. "Excellent location very responsive host. The only thing that was inaccurate in the listing was the total of bedrooms. On the listing it has eight bedrooms and unfortunately, this place only has five bedrooms and one out of the five bedrooms is a child’s room so it won’t sleep two people comfortably.our group was 6 couples and it was hard to deal with bedroom arrangements. The property lacked maintenance overall. Will definitely rent again in the future but only maximum 4 couples. "

"The pluses of this trip were: -The cottage was clean and had all appliances including a microwave -Fire pit area was semi enclosed -Cute swing seats to relax on and screened outdoor eating area -At the end of the day, my kids did have fun but there were some significant issues. The issues we had were: -The well water smelled quite bad - we have stayed elsewhere with well water and are aware that it often has a bit of an earthy smell. We have NEVER run into this problem, the stench of sulphur...
