Would be nice if a few things improved

Hotel room was fine but simple details just haven't been checked/mended! There was no door on the shower and the TV didn't work on terrestrial channels. Worst of all the coffee machine was broken and we had to have instant sachets. This should have led to a reduction in our breakfast price.

All the staff were extremely pleasant, smiling, and super friendly and welcoming. Huge credit to the staff member on the front desk who welcomed me as I arrived in the middle of the night to check-in.

Excellent friendly staff, helpful and welcoming in reception and bar. Basic room, but more than adequate. Towels purest fluffy white, acceptable hot breakfast. Would have liked a bottle of water in the room. Great views from 12th floor bar and our room.

The hotel location was perfect and it is away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.specially Emily with the dark hair. The room was spotless and well maintained. The bed is incredibly comfortable and we slept soundly the whole night. The hotel atmosphere was very quiet The coffee is nice. Pleasant, friendly & polite staff, always happy to help. Easy hotel to negotiate to rooms and public areas. Quiet room with little noise from fellow residents. AC worked well and was quiet. Plenty of hot water at peak times. plenty of parking and decent sized bays. Meals were presented as advertised and well cooked with adequate portions by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The grounds of the hotel need attention, Although there are plenty of ash bins that were emptied regularly and the area kept clear of litter, there were cigarette ends all over the gravelled area at the front entrance. Over use of silicone in bathrooms that had been left untidy and spoilt the overall look of the bathroom. Over all cleanliness is good but high areas need attention. Mattress in room was very soft, linen all very clean and pressed. Duvet tucked in all round the bed resulting in the guest having to remake the bottom sheet when going to bed? i only the bottom of the duvet had been tucked in leaving the sides to hang neatly this would be better for the guest experience. Over all a very good stay.

Value for money but a mixed bag

Parking is confusing upon arrival as the bays are marked for local businesses, but then told you can park anywhere. Check in was smooth and staff were polite. Room was adequate for the price paid, but there were some dubious stains on the chair in the room, the tv remote had some sort of goo all over the back of it and the tv was in the wrong place for the bed. Bed was comfy but pillows were lumpy. Air conditioning was fab. Shower was good but the shower head needed some attention. No teaspoons in the room.
