"The ensuite cabin was bigger than excepted with a lovely veranda for sitting out. Great central location and although the front of the complex is a bar with music, the cabins at the back were really quiet."

"Car parking bit tight, and not near the rooms. if your a bit elderly I would imagine getting up the steep hill to the rooms may be a bit of a mission. All and all was a lovely stay and rooms were comfortable."

"Staff were friendly and good value for the price. I guess we got the short straw because the view from our room was piles upon piles of dirty laundry. Kinda detracts from the whole experience."

This was an amazing find on Expedia. Jodi, who manages the property, makes everyone feel like they’re the only guest. This is a true hidden gem, with a pub and top restaurant right down the path from the main hotel and the boat rooms. I highly recommend staying there! Oh, forgot to mention the absolutely amazing views - be sure to catch the sunrise!

We stayed 3 days in August. Delux studio room. Roomy enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Room is very clean. Kitchen is well equiped. There are many activities suited for little kids or teenager. It is the main benefit we get not available at regular hotel.

We had a wonderful time staying at Airlie Beach hotel. The staff was super friendly and booked the reef snorkeling tours for us and offered discounts as well. It's right in the middle of the most happening part of the town, with excellent dining options and across from the beach.
I want to especially thank Ms.Sandy who accommodated our last min change in plans for an earlier checkout and she found a way to refund us the last day's charge even though it was very last minute. Would highly...

My husband and I absolutely loved this place. In the middle of a long trip around Australia to meet all his friends and family (I’m American) we stayed here as a break and chance to rejuvenate. The Acacia Villa is gorgeous, feels brand new, and has everything you’d need for a long weekend trip. We loved the gorgeous view, watching the birds, and relaxing in the outdoor bath. We brought most of our own food to cook, but did get one of the baskets delivered to us, which was fun and yummy. I only...

Everything is great (location, facilities, service, ...) but beware Internet access is NOT included (Hotels.com information is contradictory).
So, if you really need WiFi, first confirm you will have access.

This is a nice place with great hosts providing good service and authentic smiles. It's a local business that gives you a certain feeling... it's something of the comfort and coziness you have when staying with friends.
On the practical side: the rooms are large, nice and include all necessary amenities. The place is located at a 10 minutes walk from the city, and 5 minutes walk from the Greyhound bus terminal./ Port of Airlie.
For dinner, we recommend you to try their restaurant. The food...

Marina Shores is not a hotel, it is more of a vacation rental, fully equipped apartment - and it is marvelous! A true home away from home. Lovely front desk attendant greets you upon arrival, and then you move in. We had a large two bedroom unit with spacious terrace overlooking the marina. Gorgeous views! Wonderful complete kitchen, laundry in unit, both bedrooms had spacious en-suite baths. Very comfortable spaces, with smart, clean, contemporary design. We only stayed a couple of nights, and...

I booked a one-bedroom apartment at a very good price and I got upgraded to a 2-bedroom, with even more living room, dining room and kitchen space. I was traveling alone (so much space for one person!), but I would love to bring friends and family here. Staff were very nice and helpful, short walk to a main bus line to and from Airlie Beach, short walk to bars, restaurants and supermarket. Aircon was just in the living room not in the bedrooms but the air circulated and the ceiling fan in the...

Great little hideaway. It's in a busy holiday park, but the Villa Bali where we stayed was great. Note, it's a spiral staircase to the upper floor. If you have mobility issues, this might not be the best fit. We didn't want to lug our suitcases up there, so they stayed on the ground floor. Not the best for manuvering, but it worked. The staff was great and the park was quiet after 10pm. Convient to the Marina 20 minute walk. You have to cross a busy road to get to the water, buts doable....

Surprising apartment with phenomenal expansive views of the ocean. We had the top floor apartment. Manage your expectations though, this is not intended to be a hotel. It's an apartment that is serviced once a week so you will not get towels and turn down every day. But there's a very nice washer/dryer in the apartment for your use and they have small packets of detergent. The apartment is super clean and nice furniture. I read a review that the mattress was not comfortable, and indeed the...
