"We travel with our Labrador, so, to find such a dog friendly property as well as one so beautifully appointed, was a treat. The large yard is fully fenced (may not suit very small dogs) and the suggested on-property walks were fabulous. For the humans, very good amenities including outdoor areas. More light in the kitchen/living areas would be useful."

"Great old pub, not a good shower, shared bathroom okay. Comfy beds. Not too happy about party downstairs with loud music till 2am. ☹️ Great food in restaurant, free drinks on arrival & gentleman carried our bags upstairs - very excellent service. Great value, highly recommendable"

"Quiet restful environment ideally located, despite being right in the centre of the main street. Less than 5 minute walk to all conveniences. Management was very helpful in arranging an earlier check-in as we were due to attend a special function at midday. We were grateful for that."
