"Beautiful area. Cottage was very clean but upon arrival the cottage was extremely cold and took hours to warm up with the electric baseboard heating. There were no blind/curtains in one bedroom so it was very bright, early in the morning. We would return again but probably during a warmer time of year."

"Our family of 9, grandparents, 3 parents and 4 kids ages 4-10 had a blast at this property! There was plenty of room for all of us! Nadine was very responsive to messages, even able to accomodate a date change for us! She reached out well before check in to let us know about check in process and a little blip in Wi-Fi which was quickly rectified. The kids had fun jumping in the lake (clear water beautiful lily pads) in the paddle boat and trying kayaking. We had lots of nights around the fire...

"We had a pleasant stay with our family at this cottage with a group of 10 people. The kitchen is well equipped with blenders, espresso makers, etc. The canoe had holes in it and was dangerous to use but we enjoyed all of the other water activity amenities like kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is clean, small, and very quiet. The view is fantastic from the window/dock. We hosted a wedding at this cottage; the outside area (like the deck) had lots of leaves and spider webs all over the place so...

"Lovely spacious apartment. The Photos don't do it justice. Its really big and lots of storage. Location is perfect by the Canadian History Museum and a quick walk across the Alexandra bridge takes you in to all the main sites in Ottawa Only slight downside is the air conditioning units are really really loud so you can't have them on at night and its really warm in the bedroom. But this might only be a problem for a short time in the year !"

"Bad stuff first: the place’s heating was spotty and didn’t work for longer than an hour before the breaker would pop… no booklet telling us where, how and when for stuff like the dryer, heating, fans, fireplace. Fireplace flue was shut so when we first lit the fire, smoke was everywhere. Overhead fans never worked no matter what. The toilet downstairs was not screwed down so sitting on it was like a rollercoaster. At least it didn’t leak… There was no TV which might have been in the info...
