"Wow, what a perfect cozy cabin weekend in Bethel, ME. I am blown away by how beautiful and well kept the property is, with a relaxing hot tub during the chilly evenings and a fire pit to keep us warm. The cabin was very clean and well organized — we especially loved how well everything was labeled so we knew where to find things. The communication from Erin was smooth and accessing the cabin was a piece of cake. We are blown away from the cabin and all of its cozy amenities. We will definitely be coming back next year. A couple of notes:1) the shower was very small, but not a big deal. It was also very dark — maybe having a lighter color shower curtain would bring some light in there. Or install a light over the shower. 2) Getting out of the hot tub at night was a little tough. Adding a 2nd step or a platform that isn’t the grass would give more stability when entering and leaving. 3) The exterior gets VERY dark at night. Adding some solar panel stakes to illuminate the stairs leading up to the cabin would be helpful Overall, we are very impressed with Rivah and will speak highly of it. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you so much for hosting us!"

"Fantastic late-fall stay, even with a rainy day! Very cozy and two nights by the fire pit listening to the Loons - peaceful! Hosts were excellent at communicating and the cabin was in excellent condition - and spotless! Would very much like to stay again sometime!"

"Was extremely pleased with everything about the property, the cleanliness and our reception by Mary and family. We were somewhat prepared about what we would find as we watched Maine Cabin Masters, season 9 episode 1 where we watch the restoration of the property. But seeing it in person was amazing. Words actually fail me. Mary even went so far as to have a fresh baked apple pie (and a bottle of wine) waiting on us when we arrived. Anyone staying in this area should visit the Apple Shed Kitchen and Bakery in Readfield. Everything we tried there was beyond description. Glad we don’t live closer because I would drive a hundred miles to go there. About the home. Everything was ready to move in. The kitchen was well stocked and she even had the makings for S’mores. Every dish, pot or pan you could need or want was there. Heating was no problem with an HVAC. Supplemental heating with an antique pot belly stove added a nice romantic tone. Games and DVD’s (100?) were plentiful. It was a comfortable home. Fishing gear was available as were canoes and a paddle boat. The fishing was good and listening to the loons were fantastic The outside fireplace was large and seasoned wood abundantBottom line, we highly recommend this property for your consideration. We also hope to be back in the future, but will fly in. Getting there, driving around, and heading back to Western North Carolina was about 3500 miles. But it was well worth."

"We loved our stay on the pond! What a sweet and cozy cottage, very well appointed for a relaxing stay, with beautiful views overlooking the pond. We enjoyed canoeing, watching the eagles soar overhead, swimming, cooking in the kitchen, and just relaxing. We would love to come back."

"This is a lovely place that seems like new. The kitchen was very well stocked including lots of spices and coffee, etc. It wasn't warm enough for us to sit on the front porch, which we would have enjoyed. We loved having the hot tub. It's off the beaten path, and we were glad that we'd brought all the food we needed. The bed was comfortable. We recommend it as a nice getaway."
