This is a lovely, very clean and convenient hotel in Ascona, a charming little town. We stayed for just one night on our way to Italy, but we left with such fond memories of our stay. The hotel is family run, and the wonderful couple who run it make you feel genuinely welcome and cared for from the moment you arrive. Extraordinary stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and the property was simply beautiful. The service was exceptional, and every detail made our stay special. Exceeded our expectations. Daniella in the lounge made our dinner enjoyable! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Parking too!

The Lugano Dante hotel is a great hotel, the location can't be beaten, steps from the funicular and right by the city center, we walked everywhere. This hotel is very generous in terms of taking of customers, free drinks in room mini bar, coffee, espresso, apples, waters in the lobby, make one feel so much like home. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Switzerland (only behind the 5 stars hotel we stayed in Zurich), great selection with authentic Italian grilled veggies, cheeses, ham ,...

I wish there were more stars available for this hotel. It is worth the cost. I can’t say enough about how awesome ALL staff were with us.

Just loved this place!! Very classy and well organized/runned! Beautiful! They thought of everything! The place is adorable. The room was great and overlooked the pool. We did reserve a room with a view of the water but really couldn't see it.and a high floor but got 2nd floor which was fine. Beautiful little courtyard. They gave us a complimentary glass of prosecco and some snacks when we arrived. The room was stocked with a little refridge and everything was complimentary in it except...

LOVE this hotel!! The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager and staff. The service was wonderful, our suite was very nicely appointed, with gorgeous views of the lake. The beds and linens were ultra cozy and luxurious. The hotel was convenient located, and offered a beautiful free breakfast buffet in their gorgeous dining room. There seemed to be a pleasant and unexpected surprise around every corner with a fresh interpretation of old meets new. Would highly recommend...

Our stay was exceptional with a nice balcony and view. The breakfast and dinner was excellent and they even provided a complimentary smart vehicle to take into the city. Nice touch.

5 mins away from The train station. 15 mins away from the public beach. Very convenient. Great breakfast.

We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom spacious enough. Terrace is nice for relaxing.
