This was a fantastic hotel! Very new so everything clean and up to date. Design and lighting very nice. Bed super comfortable. Room had everything you need (fridge, kettle, good-sized towels). Appreciated having a proper hair dryer and conditioner in the bathroom. Two buses go right from the Locarno station to the hotel and since the hotel offers you a Ticino ticket, I traveled all over the area without having to pay any extra fees in transportation. Very beautiful area!

We loved the view, privacy, helpfulness of the staff when we had rental car issues and relaxing atmosphere at the Hotel Collinetta. The room was lovely and the air conditioning very much appreciated as it was quite warm for our stay. We ate at the restaurant several times during our 4 night stay and loved every meal. The breakfast was wonderful also. Collinetta was the highlight of our 2 week trip to Switzerland. We would definitely stay again.

What a gem of a place! It's run by two folks who clearly put a lot of care, attention, and hospitality knowledge into the experience. I loved the location which was across from a bus stop that runs right into town, next to a grocery store, and within short walking distance of the lovely Ascona waterfront. It was also a good location for morning runs. The breakfast was good and while I didn't try the restaurant, it had lively crowds and the food looked delicious. Highly recommend!
