"Nauvoo was a mid point ti meet a family member and continue work on our family tree. The historical site was the main reason we chose Nauvoo. A little search on Vrbo, we found a historic home to stay in. What a treat! The rental was beyond the price point we usually seek but the home was the cherry on top of a wonderful visit. "There was just four of us and plenty of beds to spare. Sleeps 10. Very clean home that was space for all. Great location for what we had scheduled- Nauvoo/Carthage. Each night went to keokuk Iowa to shop. Great little Mexican restaurant in Hamilton called El Camino real. Home sit on corner lot plenty of space to park and quite neighborhood. Thanks"

"We were only in town for a couple of nights and had a uniquely fun experience in Nauvoo. Beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. Kitchen was sparsely stocked with pans but doable for a meal for 6. We were warned about the lack of grocery stores in Nauvoo and planned accordingly. Overall we enjoyed the quirkiness of multiple additions to a charming old house."

"We had 33 or so family members meet at this location for Thanksgiving. Overall is was a great experience. The headliner is the view of the Mississippi. The property is up on a hill and provides a gorgeous view. Lisa was very responsive to all of our needs. Note that alcohol is not permitted at this location (on my phone that detail was slightly hidden in the rules section under “show more.” Thanks for a great property to reconnect with a large family!"

"We loved our stay in this house on the Mississippi river – halfway between Keokuk and Nauvoo. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer. It was nice that all of the couches pulled out into beds. We would definitely stay here again. We loved our visit to Nauvoo!"

"This 1930s has been completely updated with all of the modern conveniences. The attention to detail and respect for the history of the home and the neighborhood is all you could hope for. Cannot recommend this property or these hosts highly enough. We'll hope to stay again when in the area."

"The cabin rental was a great stay. Had some connection problems with the t.v. couldn't get past the check out date. The wifi was easy to hook up. The cabin was clean and smelled fresh. Did have some problems with ants on the countertop. Great place to stay, enjoyed our visit."
