We had an amazing time there, room was very clean, some staff are friendlier than some!! Breakfast was good, it has a huge variety, there’s a lot of activities there for the kids to keep them busy.

I stayed at this resort for seven days at the end of August 2026. The positives were clean pools, a nice jacuzzi area, comfortable sunbeds, plenty of beach towels, a spacious well-equipped gym, and a few genuinely attentive staff members. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet luxury-resort standards. Food was inconsistent and generally below average: dry bread, overcooked food, questionable fruit, terrible breakfast coffee, and inconsistent restaurant quality. The Italian restaurant was the only consistently good dinner option. At the Japanese restaurant, sashimi did not seem fresh. Service was mostly slow and inattentive, with missing orders, poor communication, staff chatting while guests waited, and even alcohol served in a drink requested alcohol-free. Drinking water was surprisingly difficult to find during the day. There were also maintenance and management issues. Workers started painting with lacquer inside the gym while I was exercising, forcing me to leave because of the fumes. Heavy rain caused extensive flooding of the grounds, pools, beach café, and some first-floor rooms, suggesting inadequate drainage. Our room felt worn, with loose fixtures, unreliable lighting controls, and a balcony door that did not lock. Minibar/snack replenishment was inconsistent. The resort has potential, but the poor service, inconsistent food, maintenance issues, and lack of attention to detail made it disappointing for a property marketed as luxury.

This was my first time visiting the Dominican Republic, and our stay at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with amazing hospitality and excellent service. The staff even upgraded our stay with complimentary Elegance Club access, which would have otherwise cost us around $500! Our room was always clean and well maintained. The staff left us champagne and other alcohol, and our fridge was fully stocked every day. We also took advantage of the complimentary room service, although I would recommend checking out the buffets, restaurants, and lounges if you’re looking for a wider variety of food. One of the highlights for us was definitely the four Elegance Club pools. They offered much more privacy, plenty of cabanas and beach chairs, and the staff working at the swim-up bars were always friendly and attentive. As for the food, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed the Japanese restaurant, especially the hibachi experience and sushi. The steakhouse was also very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Italian restaurant was the one disappointment of our trip. The service was poor, and the food arrived cold and lacked flavour. The buffets, however, were a great option, especially for breakfast and grabbing snacks throughout the day. Overall, we had an amazing experience. The resort itself is beautiful, there are plenty of activities to keep you entertained, and the staff were exceptional and extremely accommodating!
