"This house was exactly what we needed for our trip. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for my husband, two young kids and myself. The location was perfect and the beach was a short walk away. The property is located on a main road but I was never bothered by road noise during our stay. Kitchen is small but offers what you need to make easy meals while on vacation. Would recommend to others."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean, parking was easy. Although we didn’t cook much, the kitchen had whatever we needed. We could walk right to the beach which is a real plus since all of the beaches charge for parking and most require advance reservation."

"It is a great place to stay with kids and older adults. So easy to get to the beautiful sandy beach. The water was so clear, shallow and gentle waves. Very refreshing water temperature. Shed in back has many beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys, 3 floats too. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water was wonderful to change or just rinse off the sand before entering the house. Needs a bucket to rinse your feet on the side porch. Indoor showers were clean, bedding clean and comfortable, house is one level. My elderly father, who uses a walker, came with us and was able to navigate the 4 steps up to the back porch. Luckily the path from the parking lot was a paved slope with a sturdy metal handrail. There’s a place 3 minutes away called Surfside subs and pizza, next to an ice cream shop that we frequented several times. Monday and Tuesday only they have good lobster rolls for 13.99! You can’t beat that!"

"The stay at Pete's place was great. The location was excellent and the house was in fine condition. Unlike many large rentals, the wifi was better outfitted for a large group. Being walking distance to the beach is beyond perfect, which gives the location for this property an A. Walking distance to an ice cream place and lobster rolls is dangerous for my health too. I did make a request that some things mentioned at the check-in be moved to the rental agreement when booking, like how town trash bags must be purchased for your trash, and beach towels need to be washed and folded before departure. Pete and I discussed this over text and he was very professional with this feedback. I have no reason to believe he won't include this for future renters. Additionally, the propane tank on the grill was out. He replaced it himself at 8 PM that night, which was much faster than the other fixes I’ve encountered at other rentals. In summary the communication from Pete and overall experience was very good. This is a safe rental in a beautiful area you will enjoy and I would recommend."

"Overall we had a wonderful time. There were only a few things we had issue with. Finding outlets to plug our chargers into. Figuring out which switches were for what. The refrigerator had food left in it and was dirty. Other than that we had a fantastic family vacation and enjoyed how close we were to the beach."

"We had an absolutely lovely stay on Long Beach, it certainly wasn't swimming temps but walking down to the beach for sunrise and for the kids to beachcomb during the day was so lovely. We took advantage of the train from Gloucester to the October chaos that is Salem and appreciated the convenience of this with the beauty of the beach a perfect stay. The house was spotless and very comfortable for our group of 6. The outdoor areas are wonderful and comfortable as well. We definitely hope to be return renters! "
