What an amazing guesthouse this was! We had booked one of the better rooms and it was very much worth it. The view was exceptional! very clean and we always got warm service. I would for sure come again!

Old world charm

Old world charm..on the slopes of table mountain in a quiet neighbourhood. Lovely verandah with views over the City bowl, harbour and Robben island. Slow down and enjoy the stay.

It was a last-minute reservation, we were staying at another place nearby and needed a break from the heatwave. This was a little gem of a place, and I am only sorry that we had such limited time there. A very charming place with great service. And the beds were so comfortable!

First of all I was unable to check in Our plane arrived late, I tried calling and notify the property and no one answered the phone. Automated chat line stated: we will send you email, no email received: we were stranded at 10 PM with no place to stay.

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt – keine Empfehlung Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider enttäuschend. Besonders die Sauberkeit ließ stark zu wünschen übrig: Der Balkon war sichtbar ungepflegt, und die Möbel waren schon nach drei Tagen staubig, ohne dass gereinigt wurde. Das Badezimmer war veraltet, mit schwarzen Fugen, die möglicherweise schimmlig waren. Auch die Poolliegen waren unbrauchbar – eine war kaputt, und die Auflagen waren voller Vogelkot und Schmutz. Nichts davon wurde während unseres Aufenthalts gereinigt. Auch der Service war unzureichend. Während der gesamten fünf Nächte gab es nur eine einzige Flasche Wasser, die bei unserer Ankunft im Kühlschrank lag. Danach wurde nichts nachgefüllt, was für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalts enttäuschend war. Das Frühstück war monoton und bot wenig Abwechslung. Für zwei Nächte wäre es ausreichend gewesen, aber ab dem dritten Tag war es langweilig. Das Angebot bestand aus einem Brot, Croissants (nicht frisch), je einer Sorte Salami und Schinken, zwei Käsesorten, etwas Obstsalat und Joghurts. Frische Eiergerichte konnte man bestellen, aber das Gesamtangebot war dürftig und geschmacklich enttäuschend. Wir haben schließlich lieber in der Stadt gefrühstückt. Positiv war das freundliche Personal, einschließlich der Inhaber, die jedoch nichts an den Mängeln ändern konnten. Insgesamt war dies leider die schlechteste Unterkunft auf unserer Südafrika-Reise.

Für 3 Tage Kapstadt ok

Die Lage war gut in der Nähe zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Balkon mit schönem Blick auf Kapstadt, Tafelberg, Lionˋs Head, Signal Hill, Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel auf der Straße. Frühstück war ok. Hotel wirkt insgesamt veraltet. Für für 3x ÜN insgesamt ok.
