Had a great stay! Staff were friendly. Delicious breakfast. My room was upstairs in the main house - it was small but perfect for my needs. Very clean. I liked having a kettle and fridge in the room. Sea point is a convenient location - easily walkable. Good value for the price - would stay here again!

A Must Stay In Capetown

Absolutely Fabulous!!!!!! The Owners Stephen And Gregg Are Amazing. They Go Above And Beyond To Make Sure Their Guests Are Happy And Enjoying Their Stay In Capetown. The Gourmet Breakfasts Everyday That Stephen Prepares With The Help Of David Are Not To Be Believed.......... Absolutely Scrumptious!!!!! Staying At The Villa Rosa Is A Must When You Go To Capetown.

Staff were all excellent, in particular Chelsea was most informative and helpful. The dissadvantage to the room we stayed in was the lack of privacy between the bedroom and ensuite as there is no proper door between the rooms. Instead there is a pair of badly fitted wardrobes doors with a 3inch gap at the bottom. The shower was dated and needs upgrading.

We could hardly have wished for a more wonderful way to start our trip to South Africa than staying at the Villa Rosa Guest House in Sea Point for 6 days. The location is perfect: one block from Main Road with all its shops and eateries, two blocks from the ocean front road with its long esplanade that is perfect for strolling. This area felt very safe for walking around, including after dark when we walked back from eating out in the neighborhood. Even so, the guest house compound felt extremely secure, with multiple locked doors and gates. The guest house itself is a small, charming bed and breakfast, and each room (we looked in several) seems to have a unique character. We stayed in Room 11 and would choose it again, as it is particularly quiet and private — far back from High Level Road (which gets a fair amount of traffic at certain times of day), enclosed in the middle of the compound, and has its own small outdoor “courtyard” with a fountain and sitting area. The room itself is spacious, with a comfy and old-fashioned sitting area (complete with fridge and tea/coffee station) separate from the bed, and a refurbished modern bathroom. Everything was clean and well kept, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were especially good (even compared to the other B&Bs we stayed at elsewhere on this trip), with a different main choice every day, each more delicious than the last, in addition to all the other breakfast options one might like. What I liked. Very convienent location. Room was beautiful. They gave me an extra duvet which was nice. There was a very nice guard at night who would see us to our car and make sure we were ok. The beds were comfortable the water was hot . room was gently heated not over heated. It is on High Level rd which can get busy in the day but it didnt bother us at all. Lighting was a bit dim but we were ok. Would definitely come back.

I felt very welcome and loved the overall atmosphere. The food was delicious, the room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the area felt safe. Easy access to hiking trails just a few blocks away and downtown was walkable in under an hour (or uber was never more than a minute away). I would absolutely recommend and will definitely stay at the Villa Rosa again if I am back in Cape Town.

The place has a very good and friendly vibe and very nice attentive staff! My room No 2 was not the best as it has a big window facing the terrace of room No 1 so there is not much privacy. However, it is a very good location with many restaurants and the promenade nearby. It also is a cozy and comfortable place and good value for money! Would stay again but would try a different room.

If you want to feel like you’re staying with your favourite cousins, this is the spot. Staff are sweet, owners friendly and helpful. Great communication. Rooms are all different (in a good way) and the breakfast is fabulous. My only suggestion is to offer a laundry option. Tbh they probably would have done so if I asked.

Rooms facing the street are rather noisy and room 2 has no privacy as there is a balcony of room 1 right behind the window of the room. Overall, it’s a lovely place and the staff is super nice. It has a very good vibe and the location is superb!

Lovely guest house Staff were excellent Especially Chelsea and David. Very comfortable bed. And great shower. Breakfast was also lovely No issues walking around thexarea after dark. Only tiny issue is the noise people make coming in.
