"I booked this trip 10 months in advance based solely on its high rating, without reading any reviews. As the date approached, I finally started looking through them—and I’ll be honest, the negative feedback had me seriously considering changing our accommodations. I’m so glad I didn’t. The property was absolutely stunning, and the staff went above and beyond—truly exceptional service. While the food wasn’t five-star gourmet, it was far from the awful descriptions I’d seen; everything we had was enjoyable. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and didn’t feel outdated in the slightest. I’m genuinely surprised by the number of negative reviews this resort has received. Dreams Playa Bonita exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. My only minor complaint is that the room curtains aren’t blackout, so the sunlight comes in fairly early. If you’re a light sleeper or like to sleep in, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask. Without a doubt, I’d stay here again."

"Wonderful spot just outside of the main part of El Valle. Beautifully maintained property with lush landscaping and eclectic but very well done interior design. Our room had amazing high ceilings and modern bathroom. Feels like being in an old castle! Breakfast was excellent as well."

"Amazing beachfront hotel. Facilities seemed to be brand new. Complimentary breakfast with a full plate of food and beverages. Area is isolated from any population centers so the onky people on the beach were hotel guests and owners of the adjacent condo complex. Beach was sparkling clean. Uber users beware...seemed next to impossible to get an Uber from the hotel. Had to call a local taxi to get from the hotel back to Panama City for over 100usd. "

"This beautiful condo is in a prime location in Gorgona. The view from the balcony can’t be beat and the access to pools and ocean is easy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Delicious food in restaurant and a fun beach bar with lots of live entertainment. We did not want to leave!!"
