Best Western Williamsburg Historic District
10/10 Excellent
"Do not stay here. The rooms are disgusting. There was blood on the window curtain, blood on the shower curtain, and an old blood stain under the mattress. It smelled of cigarette smoke in my room. The “fitness center” had four machines and one was broken, and it smells terribly of mildew. It felt musty. Don’t even get me started on the free breakfast, the pancakes tasted frozen/microwaved. The sausage was okay, but the eggs tasted like they were made from a carton, and mixed with water. They had no flavor. There should be a staff member in the pool from 7pm-10pm because the children were screaming at unnecessarily loud levels, so it was hard to fall asleep. The elevator also smelled musty. This is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. "
"They went above and beyond our expectations, particularly for housecleaning - arranged their stuffed animals neatly on their bed - it was a nice touch. It’s a nice place to stay a night or two while in town."

"Elegant and spacious. This place is great. Quiet, tucked away, but plenty of parking and easy access. On property lodging is the way to go for sure. Makes exploring Williamsburg so easy and convenient for the family. Plan to go back and stay in the Griffin again."
