"This place was pretty nice. The AC was marginal, but . . . The lady running the hotel was awesome. She did all of our laundry for 20 Euros. And, we had a lot. Every morning the lady of the house also fixed a great breakfast. With eggs and fresh squeezed orange juice and fruit and everything. This is the only place we stayed in 30 days of traveling around Italy where actual food was served for breakfast. You know, like an omelette or scrambled eggs and bacon that wasn’t raw. "This is a grand old house, well-kept and beautiful on the Messina waterfront. It was really fun to stay here and we partied on the rooftop terrace until late, enjoying the night view and watching the ships come and go in the harbor. It’s a 15 minute walk to downtown shopping but there is a light rail train that stops right out front. There are some restaurants nearby. We loved the charm. "

"This B&B is in great condition, immaculately, clean, and spacious. The location is phenomenal four minutes walking to the port, a block and a half from the main street. The room is very well equipped with utensils and cups. Santos, our host went above and beyond to retrieve me from the train station as it was late Sunday evening with limited transportation. 10/10👍"

"It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."
