"We stayed at Casa Mancia for one night, while walking on the Via Di Francisco. It's a nice hotel, beds were comfortable, it was clean, bathroom was nice. We had a simple, but tasty (nice cakes) breakfast in price. I'd say it's a nice place to stay especially if you've got a car. For us - it was a bit far from the city centre (over 20 mins by foot), but still we were happy with our stay in all regards."

The facilities are excellent but in the room there was not even a kettle to make coffee, there was a mini refrigerator with two cans of soda. However, the unforgivable thing is that the Wi-Fi connection did not work inside the room and they use an open network that is not secure. "Bottom line at the top: We could not have been more pleased. First, Spello: Is Spello as charming as you’ve heard? Should you stay in Spello? YES and YES. Spello was our base for a week of day trips, and we came home from each of them gratified, but also thinking we may have been just as happy just staying put. Now, as for this particular rental: It is just inside the walls of the historic center, so you don’t have to drag your bags up a mile of cobblestones. It is clean and comfortable and more homey than a hotel. The best part is the host. She couldn’t have been more accommodating. She stocked the kitchen shelves and refrigerator and had detergent in the laundry room and stacks of books and brochures. Our timing had to change for both our arrival (due to a train strike) and our departure (due to the Giro d’Italia) and she went above and beyond to work with us. Would we stay here again? Would we recommend it to others? YES and YES."
