"So cute! Super clean, compact & efficient, only a few minutes drive to Caprock Canyon. Even the upstairs loft mattresses were comfortable! Lovely porch perfect for coffee & yoga listening to birds at sunrise. We hope to return."

The Tonkawa Homestead at Caprock Canyons

10/10 Excellent
"We had such a relaxing and peaceful visit here! We were visiting the area for my nephew’s graduation from Texas Tech, and the drive into Lubbock is easy and pretty - so nice to visit with family there but also have a few days of quiet family time in Quitaque. Caprock Canyons is less than 4 minutes drive from the house and a highlight of our trip. The home itself is spacious, charming, and welcoming, with historic character, comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of hot water and good towels, and a great kitchen set-up with dishes and utensils for a large family. The outdoor space is inviting with covered porches, outdoor games, a secret hideout tree our kids adored, and gorgeous sunrises, sunsets, and starry nights. Communication with our host was friendly and efficient. Thanks for a great stay!"
