GLITTERING LAKE VIEW is a modern flat located in the upper part of Carate Urio, a small village known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. It is characterised by narrow cobbled streets, stone houses, and a breathtaking view of the lake, making it an ideal destination for those seeking a corner of peace. Stylishly and modernly furnished, the flat has a beautiful view of the lake and you can enjoy the wonderful panorama from every window in the house. The flat is arranged on two levels. On the ground floor there is a private garage from which you can reach the first floor. It consists of: modern, fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. Bright living room with TV area and table and chairs and French window with access to lake view balcony. Bathroom with shower and laundry area with washing machine and dryer. On the second floor there is a first double bedroom with access to the lake view balcony, and a second double bedroom with attic loft with two futons. On this floor there is also a complete bathroom with tub. From this floor there is also access to the small private garden. The wonderful view of the lake can be admired from both the sleeping and living areas.

The flat, suitable for up to 6 persons, offers Wi-Fi connection throughout the house, air conditioning, and a private covered parking space.



ACCESSIBILITY AND PARKING

GLITTERING LAKE VIEW is located in the upper part of the village and can only be reached by car. It also has a convenient garage with internal access directly to the flat. Internally, the flat is arranged on two floors.



CARATE URIO & SURROUNDINGS

Carate Urio is a picturesque village located on the western shore of Lake Como, in Lombardy, known for its charming lake landscape and quiet atmosphere, making it an ideal destination for those seeking an escape from the daily hustle and bustle. Carate Urio is also an ideal starting point for exploring the Lake Como area, with numerous hiking trails leading to extraordinary viewpoints. The village is well connected thanks to public transport, such as boats that navigate the lake and buses on the main road that connects the village to the main nearby towns. The most beautiful restaurants in the area are easily reachable by car.

There is a grocery shop and butcher\'s shop in Carate Urio, within walking distance of the flat, but no super market. The nearest supermarket is called Bennet and is located in the village of Tavernola, 7.5 km away from the flat.



GETTING AROUND

Please note that the taxi service on Lake Como is not always reliable or readily available. We therefore advise against relying on it once you have arrived at your destination. We suggest considering alternative options such as public transport (buses and boats), hiring a car or using pre-booked private drivers.

The nearest bus stop is ‘Urio - Ponte’, which is about 200 metres away and can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot.

The boat stop is 3.5 km away.

Easy access to the airports, Milan and Lugano, all of which are about an hour\'s drive away.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

All guests are required to pay a tourist tax of €3.00 per night, per person.

In the cold period heating is an additional cost to be paid separately: € 11.00 / Day.

It is forbidden not to separate waste as instructed, otherwise a penalty of € 60,00 will be charged.
