"We were always happy to return at night to this comfortable, homely and spacious lodge. Loved the light that greeted us in the morning from the skylights and large sliding glass doors leading to both the front and back porches. "It was difficult to find the first time. Probably more my GPS fault than anything. Once arrived, I had to walk around the area to find my lodgings. GPS said "you have arrived" well, that wasn't good enough. I walked around till I found it. I slept in the twin bunk room. The bottom bunk bed was very uncomfortable. Mom slept in the queen bed and said it was very comfortable. Bring your own toiletries as they are sparsly provided. The shower floor has no slippage protection. I did mention this to...

"My friends (3) and I were wonderfully surprised by this stay. Hosts were beyond helpful, and fast to respond. Beautiful property and cozy atmosphere. The cottage is well organized and EXTREMELY clean. One of the best places I have stayed in. It is easy to get into Edinburgh but does take 45 minutes by one bus. Overall a wonderful experience and a great place to stay if you are making a trip to Edinburgh and area. Definitely would stay here again!"
