"The building is wonderful as are the grounds very traditional. food is great and has a very nice 24hr Bar But what makes this place amazing is the staff very friendly and will bend over backwards to make sure you’re ok. Michelle at reception went above and beyond she was absolutely amazing and made sure our difficult requests were catered for"

"My best friend and I got to experience what relatively few Americans will ever experience - sleeping in a real castle! What an experience! The grounds were beautiful, overlooking a flowing river and a gorgeous wooded area. The walk to the quaint town of Peebles was fabulous. "It was difficult to find the first time. Probably more my GPS fault than anything. Once arrived, I had to walk around the area to find my lodgings. GPS said "you have arrived" well, that wasn't good enough. I walked around till I found it. I slept in the twin bunk room. The bottom bunk bed was very uncomfortable. Mom slept in the queen bed and said it was very comfortable. Bring your own toiletries as they are sparsly provided. The shower floor has no slippage protection. I did mention this to...
