"Villa Old Town has an extremely convenient location in the heart of the Old Town and boasts beautiful views of the harbor and comfortable beds. My only notes are that at times the WiFi was a little slow, and the doors and walls were extremely thin so if you had loud neighbors (which we did) you could hear everything."

"The location is beautiful; overlooks Lake Ohrid. The room was clean. The hotel itself was in disrepair. Paint peeling off the wall of our room, baseboards missing or damaged. All though they advertised a roof terrace, there was no seating and they were using it to store building supplies. The hotel staff was helpful and polite, however the restaurant staff acted like they couldn’t be bothered to wait on us and their staff was smoking at one of the tables in the restaurant."

"Luxurious hotel for a very good price! Everything is technogically automated, which means there are rarely any staff present, but that was actually a good thing. It felt like coming home to your own apartment, but with great cleaning service! Clean, modern, rooms with super nice bathroom and air conditioning. And the location right by Sofia church is just so excellent. Right in the middle of Ohrid old town. Everything is a walking distance away. No need for a hotel breakfast when you have so many great cafés all around. The lounge room in the hotel have free coffee, fruits, and cookies, which was surprisingly good! We will come back to Villa Varosh next summer again!"

"Arrived at this location and the staff was super helpful to get us settled in, the bathroom had a weird smell coming from the drains, the jacuzzi in the room had some off gassing which lead to an awful smell in the room. So had to keep the door open for fresh air, but then the neighbors decided to smoke on the deck, leading to cigarette smoke filling our room. Sheets were old , and did not have fitted sheet on mattress. Towels were old and falling apart. Seemed like they were just getting by on a shoes string. Good price , close to water. If you don’t mind bad smells it could be for you."

"If you are booking last minute for Lake Ohrid and you need a room with a bed and a bathroom at a reasonable price, this is a place for that, but not much more. It's about 5 minutes downhill to the nearest beach and to town. Uphill is a climb and doable for the able bodied, but not recommend for those with mobility issues. The owner will kindly offer pick up at the bus station; take him up on it as you won't find this place on your own. Lake Ohrid in general is lively and has a great vibe, don't miss it when you are in Northern Macedonia!"

"Good place to stay. Great location, parking in the back, friendly & responsive host who checked us in. WhatsApp upon arrival to let them know you are there (and 24 hours before with time of arrival). Clean, plenty of room. Attention to detail could be better & WiFi wasn’t strong. Hot water, but be quick because it runs out."
