Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Hotel was okay. Typical all inclusive feel. Staff were great. I didn’t like that hallways had trash for days before it was cleaned up. Food was a hit or miss. Speciality restaurants were good. To get beach hut you have to get up at 6am to save a spot. Beach was nice, however surrounding hotel people came with their children although you pay more to be all adults. Pool entertainment was a little boring. Would like to hear more music to make pool fun. Once music went off it was a little boring. Thankfully took my little JBL speaker to have some music. Pool bar closes at 6pm. Also they serve drinks in little cups instead of filling up our own cups. The bartenders would let you order 1-4 drinks to watch you fill your own cup. Didn’t make sense. Overall place was okay. Not sure I’d be back. Oh also you have access to the family RiU next door. You can only eat at the buffets. Pool time was more fun and kids didn’t seem to bother me there. WiFi was great."

"The restaurants that require reservations were not worth it. The service at those was terrible at each one. We ended up getting better service from the buffet. The restaurants were a 2 hour dinner for a party of 2. As a whole I would rate the food as mediocre at best. The virgin drinks were really good. The hotel only has 1 event space and it's the same dance group every night dancing to different music each night. Romell the bellman was fantastic. And Tori behind the front desk in the evening was incredible.i get that the hotel is on the beach, but the floors in the bedroom always felt like they had sand on them. If you lose your wrist band it's $250 to replace it. If you lose a towel card it's $20 to replace it. If we go back, we wouldn't choose the Riu again. Good luck contacting the hotel if you need something before your stay."

"This is our third straight year staying at the fairmont. Staff never disappoint!!! Always feel welcomed. The cleaning crew does a beautiful job, even when they see us come out of the room and the do not disturb sign is hanging on the door, they offer us fresh towels and bath accessories. I wish I could give everyone 10 stars rating."

"We had a wonderful stay. The room was very nice and clean, and the staff was overall fantastic. We especially wanted to highlight our server, Verona, at the buffet. She was wonderful and always welcomed us with a smile. We also appreciated the convenient car parking and enjoyed all the fun activities. We can't wait to come back! ."

"Great stay. Highly recommend this property for its clean, modern rooms and a courteous, incredibly helpful staff. We opted to pay for the on-site dining, and every meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—was absolutely delicious. The jacuzzi was a major highlight, offering a hot and relaxing escape. There is also plenty of complimentary parking available. My only critique is regarding the massive pool; while it’s a fantastic amenity, the filtration system needs to run more consistently, especially during peak, crowded hours."

"The rooms are decent manager is amazing some of the staff are awesome but I suggest either learning some Spanish or bringing someone who is fluent with you aside from that as soon as you get checked in i suggest going straight to guest services to make your dinner reservations the Japanese and dominican food was AMAZING"
