"My family and I stayed at RIU Palace Paradise Island for 6 days while celebrating my mother's 60th birthday, and overall we had a wonderful experience. Check-in was quick and seamless. One thing to note is that if you book through a third-party website rather than directly with the hotel, airport shuttle service is not included. Before arriving, I had read several reviews criticizing the condition of the rooms, so I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. There were signs of normal wear and tear that could use some attention, but nothing that negatively impacted our stay. One minor inconvenience was the air conditioning. We could only turn it on or off rather than adjust the temperature, which made the room either too warm or too cold at night. On our first night, there were no comforters or blankets in the room, but after housekeeping serviced the room, we were provided with blankets for the remainder of our stay and had no further issues. Another small drawback was that the bathroom does not have an exhaust fan, so it became very steamy after showering. The food was generally good, although many dishes tended to be oversalted. During our stay, we dined at Bahamas Steak House, Tengoku, and Krystal. Krystal was by far our favorite restaurant. While the host was somewhat curt when we arrived for our reservation, the experience quickly improved. Our servers were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the meal. "Awesome place. When it comes to the availability of food and the diversity and quantity of it, the score is a solid 100%. The beach has beautiful soft sand BUT it is FULL of seaweeds. There was a spot that was fully clear that you could get to, once you pass the seaweeds. If you are going with kids they will be mesmerized by the water parks. Close to airport. Friendly staff. Great water pressure in the room. Large clean rooms. Great balcony. You will have too many options when it comes to food and drinks."

"Es una propiedad excepcional para la familia. El entretenimiento con los huéspedes en el área de la piscina son excelentes. El personal se desborda en atenciones. El área de adultos esta muy buena si deseas irte a relajarte un poco. Las facilidades hermosas, limpio. El teatro de verdad que es impresionante muy bueno los shows. Las discoteca las comidas es todo. El restaurante Español wao 20 de 10 fabulosa la comida. No pudimos visitar el japonés Italiano ni el Mexicano por disponibilidad para nuestro grupo de 9 para las fechas pero no hizo falta los demás estuvieron espectaculares, incluyendo el bufé."
