"Pros: Das Haus war sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet, die Wohnung groß und genügend Platz für 4 Personen. Der Gastgeber Guiseppe war sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, dafür nochmals ein danke. Der Garten und die Dusche waren perfekt und extrem praktisch, genauso wie die Waschmaschine Der Gastgeber gab uns ausreichend Informationen, zum einkaufen, Sehenswürdigkeiten,..... "10 minutes from Catania airport which is why we booked it. 15 minutes walk to Euro pizza which was the best we had our whole trip! Supermarket across the street. The neighborhood did not have much else within walking distance. We booked uber for airport and there is a bus (L-EX). The rental is nice and clean. It is on the top floor with no elevator. We were able to carry our luggage so it wasn’t a problem. Washing machine and drying rack on balcony for clothes. There is a loft with a single pull...

"We had a fantastic long weekend at Brucoli Mare 2. We were in Sicily for a family wedding. Joe, the host, was amazing. Very flexible about check-in time and super helpful when we had questions. The villa was clean and air-conditioned and had everything we needed. Would definitely flag up that you need your own transport when staying there. Uber doesn't work and local taxis are very expensive. Nearest supermarket 20/25 mins walk away. Loved our stay. Would definitely go back. "

"On avait réservé une chambre spacieuse avec vue sur la mer. Déception à l’arrivée de constater notre vue sur le parking! Après discussion, ils nous ont changé de chambre le lendemain. Propreté et nécessités offertes en salle de bain. Peu de restaurants aux alentours ( 3-4 mais cependant accessibles à pieds) car hôtel éloigné. Beau pied à terre pour visiter la région (Etna, Syracuse, Taormine)."

"The private beach and the breakfast/terrace make this hotel 5*****. The hotel is badly in need of updating/renovating. Old stained carpets and stodgy furniture and curtains. They could definitely keep all the old world charm with a fresh look. However, the staff is incredible and keeps the hotel clean and comfortable despite it being outdated. We were very comfortable during our stay and were impressed by the service and friendliness of the staff. The private boat to the private beach club was phenomenal and because of this and the views from the terrace for breakfast and pre-dinner drinks would have me booking this stay again anytime I visit Ortigia. Thank you to all of the staff who made us feel welcome and well taken care of! We loved Ortigia and this hotel made it truly special with the amenities, waterfront location, and phenomenal service!"

"Esperienza davvero perfetta! Tutto è stato impeccabile: la colazione era ottima e con prodotti di qualità, la struttura molto pulita e gli spazi davvero ampi e confortevoli. Ho apprezzato particolarmente il parcheggio sicuro e la tranquillità dell’hotel, che hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole e rilassante. Personale gentile e servizio eccellente. Assolutamente consigliato, ci tornerei senza esitazione!"

"Overall an excellent stay. Our suite (with a private pool) was modern, clean and comfortable - most critically with a soft bed (italian beds are usually so hard) and effective but quiet aircon (so you could have it on all night). At the pool there are comfy sunloungers and we always had brand new fluffy pool towels. The main pool was usually very busy - but not an issue for us as we camped out at the adults pool. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Lunch and drinks at Lime Bar were also always to a high standard. The evening buffet, and the a-la carte restaurants were a bit hit & miss - the pizza restaurant the best of the bunch. Staff very helpful, maybe just too few of them on occassion. Note that this hotel really is off the beaten track. Brucoli village is close - but there is nothing there to see or do. Don't bother going and certainly pay for the water taxi from the hotel. Overall - thoroughly recommend."
