"We stayed in the family room for the weekend. The room was very clean and spacious, with a brilliant view of the lake.
The hotel is only a stone's throw away from Hellvelyn which is where we intended to visit, which was very convenient.
With the delicious breakfast it was very good value. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well."

"I stayed in the Alcock Tarn suite. Totally gorgeous overall - the bed and pillows were super comfy. The rain shower and rolltop bath were brilliant and the sofa in the living room great for chilling with a book. The fridge allowed for snacks and drinks. Will be back! "
