"We stayed here to visit Carlsbad caverns. It was sufficient but there was an ant problem in the kitchen. We slept cozy. It was a comfortable place. We cooked in but the dishes were dirty and there were crumbs in all the drawers. We cleaned up before we left. Overall it was a good stay. "

The owner appears to be in the process of remodeling but if you are squeamish about poor bathrooms, open electrical outlets, or walls/floors that are not finishes then this is not the rental for you until their repairs are finished. "This was a great place to rest and relax after a day of exploring Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountain National Park. The kitchen has everything you need! We were treated to fresh blueberry muffins and fresh eggs in the day of our arrival. The owners were so kind and let us know that the property was ready if we wanted to check in early. Would definitely stay here again! "
