This was my 2nd stay at Briarwood Inn and I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Carmel.There were 4 of us in the penthouse for a girls trip. We loved having 2 rooms with big beds as well as 2 bathrooms! Having the living room to hang out in was perfect. We loved having an assigned parking space, so you always know you have a spot. The location is absolutely perfect! So quiet, and walking distance to everything. Cannot recommend Briarwood Inn enough.

We stayed in the cottage. Two of our group were very unsettled by sleeping with windows open, as there are no screens. They come from an urban background, so having such easy access to the interior space was the issue. Keeping windows open was important as there is no air conditioning. Other than that, life there was fine and comfortable.

Wonderful get away

Great location. We walked everywhere. Got some exercise going uphill coming back from the beach which was welcomed after indulging in brunches and dinners at several fabulous local spots. Note: walls are thin.

Only stayed for one night but room was clean and bed was comfy, really close to all the shops and the beach. Would definitely stay again for the price.

Our price for one room with one queen and a twin bed was $250 and compared to other rates in that area it was a decent experience, nothing fancy but cute and cozy.
