Lovely accommodation close to Lakes, Y'shire Dales

Excellent base to explore the lakes and dales. We started in a 2 bedroom apartment with marina view and it had everything we needed, easy access, great facilities and an excellent pub/restaurant next door.

Excellent Family Time

I stayed there along with my family - parents, wife and 2 boys. Stays was marvellous. Property location is unmatchable - Marina view align with green mountains remind of Switzerland d. Overall property was very good - big & spacious. Good parking. A play area for kids. Within 40-45 miles Lake District, Yorkshire Nationalpark and Blackpool. So you can easily drive and return. All in all an excellent place to have family stay.

Pleasant area relaxing

Lovely apartment few issues wanted a bath after a long walk not possible no plug .bathroom smelt of dogs had to buy air freshners leaving window open wasn't enough to get rid of smell new mattress needed

Nice idyllic place next to canal and countryside.

Excellent accommodation, modern and very clean. Canal offers nice walks along foot path. Pub nearby. The only negative is the nearby motorway that unfortunately provides a back ground rumble all night long but you soon get accustomised to it.

A week in a one bedroom apartment overlooking a canal basin. Lovely floor to ceiling windows and verandah.

Simple easy check in & out. Great place for walks, Beautiful scenic views & wildlife with long stretch of canal ways. Hotel room has all the home comforts like full size fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc. Location within 30 mins drive to lakes & west Yorkshire. Top tip - don't cram your car with food & other self catering essentials as Aldi & Tesco is within 5 mins drive away.

Not quite luxury as it advertises

Nice newish build of apartments. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. Bed was really low to the floor and a little on the small side but was fine. Sofa in living area was far too small couldn't get comfy on it. Kitchen surfaces and appliances felt greasy, kettle handle was filthy. The glass table was wiped with a greasy cloth had dirty smears all over it. The apartment had an unusual smell to it which was a little off putting to start off with had to leave the windows open and after a while it seemed to wear off. The motorway is right next to the complex so it is noisy and so were whomever was staying in the apartment below and really young children screaming and bashing things around late at night but I guess that is not the complex fault, could have been better sound-proofed I guess. The pub across the car park served excellent food. There is no wifi in the apartments. The apartment was quite modern just the little things let it down for me personally, just a shame where it is located. Stayed in 1 bed apartment.

Lovely

Stayed here with the other half and 3 children. Property was spacious and suited our needs perfectly. The morning routine of feeding the ducks and swans delighted the girls. And they enjoyed playing at the little balance / obstacle course. As we arrived and left on a Saturday we didn't see any staff and due to their being no problems during our holiday we didn't require to contact them. Bedrooms were roomy and well presented. Would definitely visit again and would recommend.

The bed was horrendous, my husband and I could not sleep, we both have back ache. Had to stay until we completed on a new home. It is so sad as the site is wonderful but the bed ruined the whole experience.

Great location close to the Lake District

The accommodation was excellent, clean and modern and warm. The key was ready for collection inside a safe box on arrival and we felt at home straight away. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants their home comforts and it is in easy driving distance to both the lakes and the Yorkshire dales.

Absolutely lovely stay with family - such a nice little place. Like a home from home. Very spacious, very clean. Only downside would be the noise from the motorway which didn't really bother us but might do if wanting to sit outside / have windows open. Great location.

Stayed one night - Self catering, Kitchen has everything you need. Modern decoration throughout and clean. A beautiful place to stay and will definitely go back again. The children loved it and wished we stayed for longer. No negatives to report.

Wow!! Worth every penny

Beautiful apartment. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. Cannot praise this enough! Everything provided; tea & coffee, loo & kitchen tolls, cleaning products, cloths, towels, showed gel and soap. Amazing views. Very comfortable beds. Cannot recommend highly enough!! Just wow!!! Thank you. Will definitely be back.

Clean, modern, comfortable and well equipped.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tewitfield Marina. The location is great, close to Morecambe Bay and the Lake District. The properties are located very close to the M6 which wasn't a problem as we stayed in October so we had the windows closed but I'd imagine the traffic noise would be more noticeable in the summer. The accommodation was lovely, bright, modern and very comfortable. The nearby pub was a bit chaotic and the service was poor. The food was average. overall I would recommend Tewitfield Marina.

An excellent hotel with beautiful view...

We went there for 3 night to see Pine lake, Lake District, morecambe bay and Blackpool... Luckily all of not very far from there. Specially Pine Lake is very near from there (Just about 0.6 mile). Both of us enjoyed to stay such a beautiful hotel. I will recommend my friends and family to go there.
