Caronia Station Guest Houses

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I traveled from the US and stayed here for 5 days of the 17 days we were on this trip. Check-in was easy. Both Hosts were great. The property was very clean. The oceanfront property has beautiful views. The Hosts had a bottle of wine, water, snacks, pasta, and sauce waiting for us, which was GREATLY appreciated! The only thing that was confusing to us was the additional refundable cash to be paid at the time of arrival, but it all worked out well. Although there's no air conditioning, the property remained cool. There were 2 fans provided, which were sufficient along with the cool ocean breeze."

Cozy apartment in Caronia Marina with WiFi

8/10 Good

"Nice size apt. with washer, large deck, full kitchen & pots/utensils, comfy bed, separate bedroom & washroom. Free Parking in arm gate area in front of apt. Car a must to get to see the surroundings. Host very responsive and quick. Thank you. But had to pay large extra cost for two nights (2 people) for one set of towels & sheets on bed. Should have read the fine point but you would think that at that price sheets and towels would be included like every other B&B we stayed in on Sicily. Totally disappointed at that. NOT on beach, can only see a sliver of the water. Beach is very very rocky unless you walk down about 10 min. But beautiful to view from the promenade. Also a continual low siren noise that would go on all daily about 1/2hr apart not sure what it was."

Aunt's house-just a stone's throw from the sea

10/10 Excellent

Hotel Za' Maria

10/10 Excellent

"This hotel is gorgeous! The photos don't do it justice. Everything faces the sea, the rooms, the dining room, the pool and of course the beach. We loved the beach with the chairs and umbrellas overlooking the Aeolian Islands. The beach has fist sized rocks that have been made smooth from the waves. They make a sweet crackling noise as the waves recede. I've never experienced that before. The owner went out of his way to find a relative in Caronia for my traveling partner. She was blown away and I'm sure she will be back. Bring water shoes and Google an app for translation as Caronia isn't your typical resort town. Be sure to message them when you will arrive at the train station and they will nicely come get you. This hotel is a hidden gem!!"

Awesome home in Caronia

10/10 Excellent

"We had a wonderful stay in Caronia. The house was spacious, comfortable and exactly what we were looking for. The outdoor area was the real highlight, with plenty of space to relax, eat outside and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful surroundings. It was a great base for exploring the area and an especially nice place to come back to at the end of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to families or groups looking for a relaxing stay in Sicily."

LE PALACE B&B and Apartments - FLEURIE LUXURY ROOM

Apartment with private courtyard

10/10 Excellent

"On my arrival night, I had issues with navigating the train system which left me stranded at an alternate train station. I contacted the host. She in turn contacted a taxi driver that came from the neighboring city to pick me up from the train station and brought me to the property. I cannot thank Viviana enough for how she helped us so late in the evening and then she to ensure that we arrived and entered the property safely. She was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions that we had and also checking in on us the next day to make sure that everything was to our liking in the apartment. It was a great day. The property was great and great location."
