- Stay cancellation guarantee for Lockdown = In the event that you have to cancel your stay due to lockdowns issued by governments in the 30 days prior to check-in due to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic: national lockdown Italy; local lockdown in Italy concerning the area in which the booked villa is located ("red" area or impossible to reach due to official restrictions on free circulation); national lockdown of your country of residence; local lockdown in Italy in the Municipality or in the area of residence.

Villa Puspo is located in the heart of the countryside of Carovigno in Alto Salento, just 10 minutes from the splendid beaches of Torre Santa Sabina, immersed in a natural setting of centuries-old olive trees. The property retains its charm in a building with a modern design, well mixed with typical elements of the Apulian architectural tradition that give it a strong territorial appeal. The main building stands out for its elegant and contemporary design, characterised by minimalist and linear furnishings. The trullo (typical Apulian house with conical roof) presents itself as the most romantic room: with ensuite bathroom, an enchanting stone floor, walls decorated with details in living stone and a cosy double bed in white brickwork. Outside, accessible through numerous French windows, an elegant veranda houses a functional living area, with barbecue and wood-burning oven, adjacent to the swimming pool. Villa Puspo is ideal for enjoying the countless attractions of the hinterland, sampling the famous typical dishes at the numerous festivals in the neighbouring towns, and of the coast with the possibility of boat and nature excursions. The villa is located in the hinterland at Carovigno, one of the best-known destinations of the Brindisi area, and not far from the famous localities of Torre Guaceto, San Vito dei Normanni, Ostuni and Cisternino, and about 60 km from Lecce.
Interior:
On just one floor, the main entrance leads, on the right, to the living room with sitting and dining area, characterised by an imposing fireplace and a barrel ceiling. This room is on two sides of the house and is connected to a small but well-equipped kitchen. The opposite side leads to the sleeping area: along the corridor illuminated by large windows are a guest bathroom with laundry area, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, two single bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a suite with double bed, bathroom with shower and a privileged view of the pool. Adjacent to the structure is the trullo consisting of a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Park:
Villa Puspo is immersed in an olive grove that forms a natural frame around the house, creating an atmosphere of serenity, and is enclosed by dry-stone walls that demarcate the boundaries of the villa. The extensive grounds also feature fruit trees and a small lemon and citrus grove. Past the automatic gate is the parking area and from here, along a path between the modern house and the trullo, the most enjoyable area of the property opens up, fully equipped and welcoming, at the centre of which reigns the swimming pool. The park surrounding the pool is adorned with elegant bushes of succulents, which add a touch of character to the area and separate it from the characteristic field of red earth where the olive trees grow. Close to the buildings and adjacent to the pool, is a spacious veranda, equipped with a stone barbecue and a wooden dining table. This cosy space is completed by two brickwork sofas and a functional outdoor kitchen, enriched by a wood-burning oven. On the other side of the pool, opposite the front of the trullo, is a small terrace: this corner invites you to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape in total tranquillity.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool lies in the centre of the property, opposite the living and sleeping areas of the main building, which is a few steps away. Rectangular and measuring 10 x 4 m with a maximum depth of 1.50 m, the pool is lined in crystal blue PVC and has salt purification and Roman steps for access to the water. The sunbathing area extends along all sides of the pool, embellished with natural stone paving and equipped with sunbeds and a cold-water shower. There is lighting both inside the pool and throughout the surrounding area. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April until the first Saturday of October.
