"The hotel itself is well-maintained and clean. The room was spacious and had a nice layout. That said, the check-in was an awful experience. We were told our room wouldn't be ready for two hours, which was fine, and that we could valet our car (with no self-parking option). But there were only 4 parking spots outside the hotel to valet and one valet working, so he wasn't able to keep up with moving cars out of those spots. We had to wait 20 minutes just to be able to drop off our car, as the road outside was one-lane and didn't allow for double parking or leaving your car in any other way. When we went in to leave our bags at the desk, other guests were being checked in to their rooms and there was suddenly a room available for us as well. The entire check-in seemed utterly disorganized and we likely won't stay at this hotel again purely for how badly organized the parking situation is. If you don't have on-site self-parking then a hotel needs to have a way of handling more than 4 vehicles at a time. "

"This is an hotel that is trying to come back from the ashes, it is doing it slowly. The location is convenient, there is a construction site next door, so it’s quite noisy from time to time. The rooms are quite tired, but they charge you exactly what you get, and for that reason I would recommend the hotel for people visiting Gatineau and Ottawa, it is convenient. Breakfast is not the best one, recommend to walk two blocks to the Starbucks that is nearby."

"The price is reflective of closeness to the airport. The menu in the restaurant is limited and expensive. Alcoholic beverages are overpriced. Dessert menu is overpriced. You may want to bring your own toilet paper as the paper they have for the washrooms are wax paper. Expect to wash after you go. Overall, a clean place to stay. Service was okay. "

"Clean and well appointed suite. Centrally located and walkable to Parliament Hill, National Art Gallery, Mint, Byward Market, Sparks Street Mall, National War Memorial, etc. nice coffee shop in lobby."

"Great location. All staff were amazing. Bed not that comfortable. Bathroom had a sewage smell at night - had to close the bathroom door and open a window for fresh air. "

"Room interior is old and tired looking but it is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Our room was a suite. Full kitchen was great. Only thing we needed was a spatula. Great location to restaurants, museums, and Byward Market. All walkable. We will stay here again for our next visit to Ottawa "
