"The building was magnificent, every room was so grand. We were on the top floor so that was extremely tiring but very wide stairs so that helped. Breakfast was superb. My only criticism was the soap dispensers weren't great. Luckily, we had our own soap so there was no need for us to go up and down those stairs! I must say though, my daughter (obviously, far younger) was fine with the top floor."

"This is a beautifully run family B&B just outside Dundalk. The hosts were very gracious, breakfast was excellent. I stayed two days with them at the end of my Ireland trip so it was a relaxed stay. The room and bed was comfortable and the place is well maintained. The only thing on the listing that might have helped me to locate it quicker is that it is just off the Blackrock Road turn-off going into Dundalk from the south. Traveling alone, I went by it twice without seeing the sign for the B&B...

"An ideal glamping for those that like the comforts. With breakfast served at the main house, electric heating, own on suite bathroom with shower, tea coffee making facilities in the room and tv it's a home away from home with lovely wood smells. The hosts are brilliant lovely home cooked Irish breakfast every morning and very accommodating to your needs. We stayed two nights and just too short. "The kitchen facilities were good with plenty of plates and everything provided like dishwasher tablets. The host was brilliant sorting a minor alarm issue wilst we were out for the day, peace of mind that this is provided along with cctv outside the property was nice for us as anglers. The location is fantastic for Cootehill and the surrounding area with a very friendly bar/social club just short walk up the road.
