Great waitstaff in restaurant

Outstanding location, 2 blocks from the town square. Free parking under the hotel. Cobh was one of my favorite stops on our 10 stop, 3-week trip around the emerald isle. Each morning there was a new cruise ship viewable from the breakfast patio, but the town was perfectly walkable and not over-run by the cruise ship passengers. Early morning coffee & croissants

This was probably one of my favorite hotels in Ireland. I loved the easy parking for our cars, the rooms, amenities, and the bar. The staff there are all top notch, the hotel itself is lovely, and the location is wonderful. It seemed very quiet there. The only issue is coffee. If in-room coffee suits you, then no issues for you. But if you want good coffee at the hotel it's $20 room service, or the $60/pp breakfast. Wonderful stay with a great common area for meeting other travelers!

This property was absolutely gorgeous! We loved the old timey feel of physical keys for the locks and all the pictures in the common areas. Truly a wonderful experience for our first time in Cobh. We will definitely be back at the Commodore in the future

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We look forward to staying here again soon.

The room was spacious and the amenities lovely. I urge you to experience the spa. I only had time for a massage, but the combination specials they offer seem to be a great value. The massage was well done and much needed. I felt great afterward. I was also in love with the heated indoor pool the shape of a long Lima bean - all 4 ft. deep. Even though this is a old property it is clean. Staff are greay. Location terrific and quite. Great holiday decotation and smell is pleasent.

This hotel is beautiful, the reception staff wonderful, the rooms tiny but very nice. Our complaint was with the restaurant and bar. We went to the restaurant to have a drink. They asked if we had a reservation, we said no. They directed us to the bar. Again here at the bar they asked if we had a reservation. We said no. They referred us to the restaurant. Super convenient, central location for Cork City. Excellent price for a room, comfy bed (and I’m PICKY!), great little breakfast cafe next to the hotel. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

We were so impressed with this hotel. Not only is it absolutely beautiful on the inside, with all its high end finishes, but the staff was incredible. My husband asked the front desk if they had an extra adapter, and they said they would look and let us know. 20 minutes later, a staff member came to our door with one in new packaging saying they couldn’t find one, but a staff member ran out to the store to buy one so that my husband didn’t have to venture out. Really above and beyond.
