"Although the host resides in tha U.S. he was very helpful via telephone. His caretaker bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful. A visit to Blarney Castle, the Jameson Whiskey Distillery and the Waterford Crystal Factory were the highlights of our stay. We would definitely stay there again. Dave and June"

"Windows were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The internet did not work in the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. It was hard to lock and unlock the front door. Other than that it was okay."

"The house is sited on a hill overlooking the water and harbor of Kinsale. It is a large property, plenty of room for kids to enjoy the outside. The house is comfortable and spacious. The house could use a few things to make a stay easier. Figuring out the appliances and washer is a task. The instruction books have been shredded to some degree over the years, and it took far too long to figure out the different appliances. "We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. "Daisy’s cottage was the perfect space for our group of six adults. We enjoyed the kitchen space and the ability to eat in after long days exploring the area. Three bathrooms was also a huge plus! The cottage is convenient to Cork City, Cobh, and even a reasonable drive to Waterford. You definitely need a car if staying here. The property manager was great and easy to get in touch with!
