WATERSHED Robertson - a chic shed conversion

"This truly is a "just bring yourself and your clothes" stay. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, table and two seating areas. Dogs are catered for too with their own little garden area with lots of space to explore safely all set in lovely grounds for a quiet night's sleep.I have travelled with my dogs a lot and this was a luxury stay for all of us. Close to town for places to eat or just have an omelet for dinner from farm fresh eggs provided. The host could not have been easier to deal with.Highly recommended."

"Great for our celebratory family occasion. A very relaxing location. The access road was challenging. Definitely best in a four wheel drive. Lovely log fires and plenty of wood for the fires. Some of the heaters in individual rooms did not seem to work. Perhaps the power supply. All in all a great family holiday."

"I loved my stay in this fabulous old hotel! Great atmosphere, bit quirky and amenities old (I stayed in a room with a bathroom down the hall) but it was clean and grand with heaps of character. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Grounds are a slightly overgrown mysterious adventure. Will come back."

"What a wonderful setting in the rainforest next to the river. We loved our stay, just wish it was longer. The house is modern, comfortable and spacious. There was plenty of room for all of us. A place to really unwind."

"Wow, what an incredible property, and so well managed by Kangaroo Valley Getaways. The booking process, key collection and directions were all very well organised. Important to note (which is clearly written in the listing but that I didn’t read thoroughly enough! It was fine though!) that the properly is secluded, and they recommend AWD or 4WD to access it on a steep and narrow paved track through rainforest. I managed to easily follow the carefully written directions that help you get there without service or accurate GPS, and drove up in my old Ford Focus on wet and dry days. The house and property are gorgeous, and so beautifully set up and maintained. We had everything we needed when we wanted to cook, relax, have a spa, or rest. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing time in nature to spend time together. My mum and I had a wonderful trip, and adored sitting on the back verandah, listening to the birds and drinking tea. I would love to come back at winter, as the fireplaces and spa would be cozy. We had a mix of warm and cool rainy days, and were able to open up the house or close it up with fans and an aircon unit that all worked well. The variety of birds you can hear and see is also incredible - my birder husband has demanded I take him back! Thank you for taking such pride in sharing this special home with us. "
