There isn't much to Carson, Washington. In fact, a friend of mine who has lived for nine years just twenty miles away from it on the same state road did not even know that it existed. No matter. It serves as a departure point for some of the most unspoiled and dramatic wilderness in the Columbia River Gorge.

Oh, and the view isn't bad, either.

Great location right in the middle of Cascade locks within a 5 minute walk of several eating options, shopping, arcade, and many other things. Quite possibly the best spot in that little town."
