No need to worry about stairs! 2nd floor is boarded up. Stepping into your room you will be amazed at the missing amenities they warn you about in the lobby. The patched up holes in the wall and ceiling gave the place a nice lived feeling. As a weary traveler you will appreciate the soft welcoming comfort of other peoples hair on the sheets...not just one, but a few people....and a short black hair dog of some type. Adds a little extra layer for those cool Minden nights. Once relaxing in your hair bed, you will marvel watching your favorite movie forever. Thats right the internet speed allows you to watch a 90 minute movie over 3 hours! More time to love it. The guy at the front desk tried his best but I was stuck...no rooms available elsewhere so it was a fun time for me. It was the most terrifying experience for a lone female traveler"

They didn’t have my reservation under my name and had to search to find it under the vrbo host, rooms were mixed up, family didn't get what they reserved..they tried to have different families share a room and sleep on pull out beds…After our stay, we saw that our credit card was charged again for the room that we already paid for 6 months beforehand. Dealing with the hotel and VRBO to get this straightened out has been ridiculous…still have not been reimbursed. The hotel is claiming this is VRBO’s fault and VRBO is claiming it is the hotel’s fault. "
