It was very convenient for our little ski trip at Kirkwood. Han, the owner, was so kind and gave us so many goodies for breakfast and snacks for skiing.

The manager Hahn was very hospitable and always very attentive to anything you need. In addition to that they always had lots of food, coffee, snacks, and other items for free in the office at all times, fantastic coast. Great property and I highly recommend it. That said air conditioner is quite loud, refrigerated at work and the lighting is a little difficult, but since we were up there to be in the mountains, the scenery around was breathtaking and we had a fantastic time… Our second time there. We look forward to coming back many times.

I was honestly moved by the level of service at this motel. The rooms are recently redecorated, modern, and clean (much of the furniture having been built by the owner and his family). The owner stayed up late to welcome us when we arrived, laid out a tray of snacks for us, stocked the fridge with cold water, and the next morning made us coffee. The shower had good warmth and water pressure. The air conditioning worked well. The only thing I'd change is to make the bed more firm - The soft mattress topper felt comfy to lay back onto but was a bit hot to sleep on.
