Had a look around to find a nice surprise in the fridge (thank you), also found some games which was a nice touch. Everything worked, so there was no need to bother the hosts during our stay, but we were struggling to get an uber on our last day and stayed a little over our check out time, this is when Alex came over and asked if everything was ok and provided us with a local taxi company.Definitely...

"The location of these Lodges is excellent. Very tranquil and peaceful, the lake is lovely with swans and cygnets floating about. There were a great number of Canada geese and their goslings wandering about, but they don't interfere with the guests. The Lodge itself, Number 12, could do with a bit of an update, especially the appliances, fridge in particular which was leaky and old. The outside of the Lodge could do with a coat of varnish and really could do with a path in front of the porch...
