"It's in a basement and there was a door to another part of the basement that was locked and we could see a light that was on all night on the other side. It was very quiet though, great if you just need somewhere to sleep."

"The house was comfortable and sufficient for the purpose of our trip (dog show) however, the smoke alarm at the highest point of the cathedral ceiling was chirping from about 10 PM on the night of arrival ALL NIGHT LONG. We actually contemplated leaving to go to a hotel to sleep that night because it was so obnoxious and disrupting. It took leaving two messages on the local teams voicemail the next morning AND a call to the customer service 800 number to get resolution. The gentleman that came...

"The property was in a great location, not a long walk to a small beach. We had a group together for a memorial service, and were able to sleep 16. It was clean and pleasant. Some tips: - the seafood store down the road is amazing and cute - if you are a chef type, bring knives - 2 bathrooms for 16 ppl can get a little tight, so make sure your group is ready to share the space, etc. Overall, a great and affordable way to get a group of ppl together for a quiet gathering. "This cozy cottage was clean and welcoming. We visited during the off season and it was quiet. From the cottage there was a short walk over the railroad tracks to a beech. The canal was close by and there were many places to go hiking as well as walk the beeches."
