"We stayed at the Cross Hotel during a recent visit to Rome, and overall it was a great experience. One of the best things about this hotel is its location, it’s within walking distance to several major sites. In particular, it’s very close to Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, and just a short walk to the stunning Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, which made it easy to explore some of the city’s most beautiful churches on foot. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were helpful, and the rooms were well-maintained and quiet which is a nice retreat after a long day of sightseeing. However, it’s important to mention that the surrounding area can feel a bit dark at night, and there are quite a few homeless people along the way and even directly across the street. While I didn’t have any negative encounters, it’s something to keep in mind, especially if you’re walking back late in the evening. If you’re looking for a hotel with few amenities and convenient access to some of Rome’s historical churches and landmarks, Cross Hotel is a strong choice, just be aware of the local surroundings after dark."

The staff were so helpful and couldnt do enough to make you feel like a special guest,nothing was too much trouble even opening the bar for us when it had closed. I really cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our 8 night stay. We will really miss them. Oh and the breakdasts are really good value for money too."
