Experience a holiday dedicated to nature and slow and sustainable tourism! Our apartment has been redesigned to accommodate people who want to immerse themselves in the beauty of our territory, a fusion of lakes and mountains. The apartment was completely renovated in 2024 and designed for families or groups of friends who want a moment of absolute relaxation, immersed in the nature of Narro, a quiet and panoramic hamlet of the town of Casargo, located in Alta Valsassina, in the province of Lecco.
Known for its authentic atmosphere and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, Narro is a popular destination among those who love hiking and nature trails.
A short distance from Narro is Big Bench #223 , one of the famous “giant benches” designed by the artist Chris Bangle. This bench is part of an artistic and tourist project that aims to offer a special observation point to admire the views of the area. The Big Bench #223 has become a much loved attraction for both residents and visitors, and is perfect for taking panoramic photos and enjoying a moment of relaxation in an enchanting natural setting.
The apartment is designed to accommodate up to 7 beds, all in the sleeping area: a bedroom with a double bed and a room in the style of a “mountain refuge” with the classic 2 wooden bunk beds in series and the addition of an additional cot. The living area has been transformed into an open space with living area and kitchenette, which open onto the terrace overlooking the valley, the real pearl of the apartment. Every detail has been designed for those who want to live a sustainable tourism experience: a large wood stove (supplied by the property) heats the entire living area, while the other rooms can be heated by Swedish-type low-consumption radiators. The hot water is supplied by an electric boiler, while an induction cooking system is installed in the kitchen. Sustainability is mainly due to the wood heating of the living area, the absence of gas, the use of consumables without microplastics and the installation of LED bulbs in all rooms. Even fire lighters are made from organic material.
The apartment is managed by Nativoo, a benefit company that pursues measurable and concrete sustainability objectives in its statute. The apartment is part of the NativooForGood project that pursues sustainable development objectives for short rentals in the territory of Lake Como and Valsassina. . City Tax: We remind you that at check-in you might have to pay the tourist city tax, according to the season. Tourist tax: The municipality where you will be staying does not require the payment of a Tourist Tax. . Check-in: Check-in at the property is allowed only after all guests have been registered and the contract has been signed.
