"I have been to Philippines 5 times now and had some great stays . This hotel stands out as one of the best . Clean rooms,super friendly staff helpful and very accommodating. Every staff member acknowledges you every time they see you. Food from the kitchen was great and good selection and portions. The remote even worked for TV, lol and you have multiple seating areas throughout hotel. Pool kept clean and fresh pool towels when needed. Would definitely stay here on my next visit.

"Room was in great condition and the staff was attentive and friendly. I got the room with 2 queen beds, there were 2 couples on the trip, however upon arrival we were charge, we had to pay for the other couple on the trip. stating that it was only 2 people booked, but the room could accommodate 4. Also power went out a few times, being in the philippines, it was a hot night, difficult to sleep. and the driveway was an uphill climb, good thing we had a 4x4.

"I booked at Golden Gates years back, it went great! I recently booked again at GG because of my previous experience with them. Golden Gates again was a great experience. Staff were very nice and professional. My flight was rebooked and I needed to stay an extra night, the transition was very fast and easy. Stores are nearby to purchase any necessities. If I’m ever in Dumaguete again, I’ll be staying at Golden Gates without hesitation. "
