Staff were very nice and friendly. This has been a family business of theirs for a long time, and they know their job very well :) Breakfast was really good. I recommend try their dinner too. Good variety and so delicious. The pool was so clean with an amazing view. Room was clean and cozy. The town was also cute with scenic view everywhere. I wish we’d spent more nights there.

If you do not speak Italian, it is useful to know how to speak some Italian. The people are very kind and lovely, but it’s helpful to know Italian language. The setting is beautiful and food is delicious at the restaurant. The accommodations are clean, nice. I would return to the place and stay again. It is peaceful and relaxing.

Wow. Amazing. Beautiful. I can't say enough great things about this hotel/ bed and breakfast and the wonderful people who run it. A converted mansion with just a few rooms, it was amazing. Beautiful garden with a fountain, roses, an aviary. House and garden is filled with artwork. It was more like staying at a mansion or a museum than a hotel. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting La Spezia, Portovenere or Cinque Terre. Short car drive to catch the ferry or train! House has a beautiful Mountain View, Italian breakfast was amazing, room was comfortable with a very nice bathroom but most importantly, staff was very welcoming and gave us amazing tips as to how to make the most of our short stay in La Spezia. We will be back!

Clean room and friendly staff, breakfast was pretty good

Everything was very nice, including the dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. My only complaint is there were 2 hot tubs that were the same temp as the pool. We wanted to soak after a long day in the car but were unable to do so

Albergo Serena is located up in the mountains with ~10 minutes of curvy roads, but the views are spectacular! Their facilities are somewhat new, it's looks like it used to be a house and they added some rooms but well planned. Their staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was delicious with pastries, jams, cereals, salami, cheese, and even a make your own waffles machine!!! Great house for a quiet, relaxing stay, very clean, wonderful friendly staff. Beach is a short drive or a 15 min bicycle ride away. Very peaceful place with a mountain view. The Pietrasanta train station has a free parking, so you can park and take the train to Cinque Terre, La Spezia, or Pisa.
