"We stayed a month in the cave house cortijo, a beautiful place, very relaxing, comfortable traditional dwelling in a a little piece of Eden, fruit trees, bird song and mountain views. Nice river side walks and quiet back lane for a 20 minute walk into the centre of Orgiva which is a great town full of character and characters. Oliver & Maria are the perfect hosts, hopefully we will get the chance to return one day. "

"We had a lovely stay in Orgiva and found the house to be exactly as promised. A short walk from the village, it offers peaceful surroundings with all the amenities you need within reach. The stay was enhanced by the cats and dogs that usually decided to come by and say hi. Inside the house is a advertised, proper beds and a well equipped kitchen that covered all our needs. "

"As the title says, the house was very much what we imagined. It's really very well equipped, very private and a real hideaway. The hosts are super-communicative and even helped us out with some supplies as we arrived late due to a flat tyre en-route. As a village it's quiet & rural as expected. Beautiful views. One night we spotted 10 shooting stars! I think the place would be really nice in the cooler months too if you're into walks/hiking etc. We did have one problem with wasps when we...

"We had a wonderful week in sleepy Saleres and definitely recommend the house for a relaxing holiday. Having a choice of 3 different levels to choose from is a real luxury throughout the day. The local bar was great to visit but we were usually the only visitors!! Fantastic setting and wonderful views everywhere."

"Pros: Calm, quiet village in the mountains. Very relaxing atmosphere, with zero tourist surroundings. The large, cosy terrace, partly open and partly covered to protect from the sun, and with a wonderful view. The distant sounds from goats and sheep, being shepherded.
